And over the next few weeks, as the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump unfolds, we’ll all learn more about the conspirators, ringleaders, supporters — traitors — who made it all possible. And who are still conspiring right now. Many in the shadows of the internet and our society. But some are doing it right out in the open.
Marjorie Taylor Greene is U.S. Representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district. She was elected this fall and sworn in last month. Video emerged this week showing her harassing and stalking a Parkland survivor, 17-year-old David Hogg. After claiming Parkland didn’t happen, a plane didn’t hit the Pentagon on 9/11 and Trump didn’t lose the election.
A new American insurgency is now out in the open — and likely, growing. And growing thanks to the calls for attack by Donald Trump, fueled by calls from enablers like Rudy Giuliani, and propelled thanks to rising stars of the insurgency like Majorie Taylor Greene. She’s not last, crazy, dying gasp of a desperate group of people. She is leading the next wave.
