Congressman Ruben Gallego is a Democrat who represents the 7th District of Arizona and was first elected in 2014. Our host, Paul Rieckhoff, met him years before–when they were both advocates for veterans fighting for a new GI Bill back in 2007/2008.
He’s a community leader, and the son of Hispanic immigrants. He was the first in his family to attend college– graduating from Harvard University.
